2006
Play way more than last year.
Lower my handicap to 10.
Stop changing my equipment.
I am moving in 2006 so discover some great courses on the South shore of Montreal (leaning towards La Madelaine for my membership)
Have fun
Play more tournaments.
Thanks
Claude

2006
I am starting a flexibility program in 2006 and I am working with a weighted club indoors and using a putting track to help my putting. I figure these should help the swing and lower the number of putts. I really want to work on course management as well, thank goodness winter is long!!

I am abidextrous, I once golfed right-handed and now I shoot left-handed just as badly!

If I can just learn how to chip it close I will be very happy. To me it is the most important shot in the game after putting.

The most important shot in golf is the last one, and the second one. The last one, means putt, or short approach, the second means putt or apporach on par 3, Approach on par 4 or less than 130 meter shot, and it means a good shot right in the middle for the par 5.

1. Get into better shape and find an extra 15 yards off the tee;
2. Play in the Canadian Club Champions Tournament at Bell Bay in Cape Breton;
3. Reduce my handicap to 2.5;

Let's see...
Get back to taking lessons to help correct the pulls I occasionally have. Make the AGF, or whatever name it will be this year, team at the club again. Keep my handicap in single digits, play in the club championship this year.It could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others.

My goals this year are as follows, F.I.R. 62% (plan to back off on avg. distance for more accuracy). G.I.R. 77%, up slightly, Putts w/ G.I.R. 1.72 down a tad, and last but not least avg birdies per round, 30% This may be tough cause I busted my hump to get to 27%. If I can reach 2 of 4 of these goals it will be another truely great year. Hope springs eternal!!!

2 goals for 2006:
1: Play at least 15 rounds of golf with my son. He just turned 9 years and I think he's now old enough to start learning the game.
2: Dedicate some time to working on my putting difficulties.

After finally getting back to this great game seriously this year. BTW SH I started when I was 8 playing a par 3 course in Windsor with my dad. My goal this year is to get my handicap to 5. I plan on getting here by taking a few early season lessons and then practice practice practice. Also I want to play 50 rounds minimum.

1. Win the MDS Nordion 5k race in the 60 -64 age group on May 27, 2006.
2. Maintain the #1 position on the OVGA senior ladder.
3. Maintain the level of play, (12 FW & 14 GIR) through 2006, as I doubt that at age 60, that I can improve much on these.
4. Continue my fitness routine of running 4 days a week, walking and showshoeing or cycling on the other 3, weights 3 days a week and stretching 7 days a week.
5. Shorten my OG Forum posts.
6. Help Sphere Hunter with his putting.

I only have three goals for 2006:
1) Make the Intersectional Team
2) Place in the top 5 in the A flight of the Club Championship
And 3) which will help me with 1 & 2 is to improve my chipping skills."A life lived in fear of the new and the untried is not a life lived to its fullest." M.Pare 10/09/08

No use to shoot 400 yards, 300 is enough.
