Need advice removing adhesive from graphite shaft
What products can I use safely on the graphite shaft of my new driver to remove the adhesive?
There was a UPC sticker that I had removed....but it's adhesive remains. Tried using liquid dish detergent and warm water. Toothpaste didn't work either. Anything else? I don't want to damage the nice blue Aldila graphite shaft before I even hit the ball in the upcoming golf season. Thanks in advance.

I have never tried pb. However use a little acetone or nail polish or Goo gone. Don't get any on the ferrule as it'll melt.

I've used Goo-gone before and it works quite well. Make sure you dry your club well after.

If you happen to have a heat gun that'll work as well. 20 to 30 seconds.

You can use Honey, and then you put some flour and some water. No seriousely , the best thing is to heat it with a torch. As graphite shaft is made from metal, and not plastic like some people think, it won't harm it.

A torch is either butane or propane. A heat gun will do. You're asking for trouble with a torch for such an insignificant job. Heck you can use lighter fuel and that will work.

Goooooooooooo Gone! Just used it taking stickers off a club.
Make sure u wait, doesn't work instantly, give it a few minutes then gently rub off.
Other benefit is having it around for cleaning up/removing alot of different substances around the house, you'll know what I mean after u get it."Chicks dig me, because I rarely wear underwear and when I do it's usually something unusual"

I was meaning a heat gun with a torch, just a translation problem, it the thing that looks like a hair dryer with a round metallic end....

Ok. Now I get you. My apologies. But just for the record. A heat gun does not have a torch. A torch has an open flame while a heat gun is somewhat similar to a hair dryer.

Don't know, because sometimes even with a flame , you wont see it if it's very powerful, and as i didn't put my finger in it, i don't know....
