Shaft Replacement
I am picking up a near new Mixuno MP-001 driver extremely cheap in 10*. Problem is it has the Exsar shaft.
I need to know what shaft diameter this is, is it 0.335, 0.350? Thinking of either putting in a Prolaunch, Aldila NV, or maybe even a Graphite Design YS-6. Any thoughts? I want the same (or close to) performance characteristics of my Accra T-60 M4. 2.9 torque, mid kick, active tip etc....
Another thought, if I want the club to play 44.5 or 44", should I put in a slightly heavier shaft (75 gram) to keep the swingweight the same, as opposed to using a 65 gram shaft at 45"?
Thanks for the help, I know there is a guru out there somewhere!

I have used all of those shafts you have listed. None of them play like my Accra T60! If you are spending the money on a NV, why not just get an Accra? The NV is $111 and the Accra is $105. If not the closest thing to it IMO is the Pro Launch, active tip but low spin and tourque. I have always found the Gaffaloy's to be a tad stiff and if you are playing an M4 you may only need a Reg Pro Launch especially if you are going with a heavier shaft like a 75+.
