Chez Putters

We went to Chez Putters in Gatineau (Old Hull) today and I was pleased with the setup. I had not been to this indoor facility before and it was really nice. The new LS 3 systems are excellent. These sims are getting better every year. It's not far form downtown either. Worth checking out to be sure.

How would you compare those sims to the newest models at Golf-o-Max?

For some reason, that name cracks me up bigtime.

I have not seen the very latest software at golfomax, but I understand it to be the same LS3 version.

OGnut; a sim is an indoor computer golf simulator. Great for keeping the swing in shape when it's snowing out.

Garth, Yes, there is allowed smoking inside. Looked to me that ventilation was fine. And the beer was cold.

Actually I wasnt too sure how my driver would fair on the new software (experience at GOM wasnt very good for me), but it was pretty good overall. You have to rotate the screen when hitting so you are going straight into the screen, but it's all touch screen and very fast "rendering" so it doesnt take long.

BTW................... DO NOT bring balls that have markings on them, the owner asked us not use them as they mark up the brand new screens. Not like we have to identify our balls anyway.
