For one round at least...

That is good to see!
Duval in his prime was so internal (appeared cold robot- like) that alot of people didn't like him.
I personally couldn't figure out if he was just all business, or attitude.
I did see him shoot his 59 to win a tourney, so that was very nerve wracking and exciting.
However, I don't know too many people that didn't shake they're heads in sympathy once he fell off the earth.
To lose all that weight (I don't really think that caused it, maybe temporarily) and gradually disappear was unbelievable.
His comments since then have been very humble, no whining.
We are not talking about an everyday journeysman that lost it. A number 1 golfer in the world, completely loses his game.
Injuries or not, I think it just shows the mental side of golf we all struggle with.
I see a number of us doing it on the practice range, with the strong ones taking it to the course (unfortunately not always me).
Great to see, but it is one round, very curious to see if it leads to contending for wins soon."Chicks dig me, because I rarely wear underwear and when I do it's usually something unusual"

I hope he is back. There would be nothing sweeter than seeing Duval win again and contend. He was dealing with vertigo, and for those that know what it is, its hard to play a sport when you can't tell left from right some times.

It appears that David still has it going after day 2. Good to see that it was not just a one round fluke of sorts. It would be very nice to see him get back in there on tour this year.

Its gonna be a real test for him in the 3rd round. He is paired with Tiger and Furyk, hopefully he can shoot the low of the group!!!

David shot 5 over today, to finish -2. He was 6 shots out of the playoff between Woods and Kaname Yokoo which Woods won with a birdie on the 4th playoff hole.
David finished T7. Still a great finish for David and hopefully this helps him mentally. It would be great to see him back in full form for the 2006 PGA season. I for one always enjoyed watching him when he was playing well.My opinions are my own, I do not follow others.
