    You Heard it Here First!!!

Kevin Weekes on Jaromir Jagr: "He's still arguably the best player in the league and the best player in the world," Weekes said. "You can't get much better than that. I think our strength could be best served if we continue to play team hockey."

Just posting it because finally someone who isn't Czech (Weekes is about as non-Czech as they come) said it...

    Okay, beat me down...

The key word being here is "arguably". Last night on TSN's show Pierre McGuire (spl?) said Scott Niedermayer is the best player in the league right now. Good ol' Bob MacKenzie didn't offer up his choice but did say Iginla was the best power player in league.

Ahh, don't they play on the same team? That's pretty unbiased from a goaltender on a team that will do nothing all year.

Jagr will show up for a few games, show some flashes of brilliance, be a poison in the dressing room and collect his millions unless this is an option year and he's looking for a new contract. And with the economic reality of the league, he will never see anything like he has now.

Great skill, completely self-centered. The league won't miss him when he is gone.

Bring back Jaromir's Mullet. As Michael Lansberg referred to it: Strictly business up front but all party in the back.

Or as my brother refers to the mullet; shorty long back! Nice pick by the way.

    Love the mullet shot.
Didn't Jagr turn down the "C" this year?
