If I am not mistaken the TP heads set up square at address where the regular R7 heads are slightly closed. And there might be some internal weighting differences in the heads but if there is any other differences I am not aware of them.

Are the faces deeper on the TP line of drivers?

I don't think so. Seeing them side by side in GT I don't recall one face being deeper than the other. If so it must be only marginal. Anybody out there that works at GT or the soon to be departed CB that has had the product seminars on these?

I bought the Rac TP2 irons this year and they are absolutely fabulous, easily the nicest irons i've ever played.

The TP head has a higher center of gravity and is square to .5° open at address depending on the loft. I currently own an 9° R7 TP driver, R7 tp 13° fairway and an R7 TP 15° bent to 17°. But the main differences between the two is the amount of ajustments that can be made and the shafts.

Differences are:
-.335 hosel instead of .350
-upgraded shaft (Speeder 757, Fuji Six, Mitsubishi Rayon)
-Face sits square (but if you look hard enough and long enough, you'll find a regular r7 that's squar)
-you get 8 additional weights when you purchase the TP and in addition to a decent case. This gives you a little more setting in terms of weighting the club.
I've played both the r7 and r7 TP. Its marginal what the difference is but since I've been playing a speeder 757 for 4 years, figured I would just get the TP version.
