    Indoor Driving Range

    does anyone know of an indoor driving range in the ottawa region?

    The only one I know of that has any kind of ball flight distance is at lansdowne park. However, they use the space for soccer on weekends (or used to), so the golf is only available monday to friday. About 75 yards before it hits the dome.

    Ive heard talk of other domes, but nothing concrete.

    Lansdowne is closed for golf this year. The best indoor range is the Superdome on Bearbrook Road just outside Blackburn Hamlet. Open weekdays 8-4 for golf, and you get 80 yards of ball flight.

    If you live in the west end you can go to Thunderbird on Richardson Side Road, also open weekdays only for golf (I think 8-4 as well, but could be 9-5?). Not as nice as the Superdome (and not nearly as big), but it will do in a pinch.

    indoor range

    Someone told me that landsdowne is opening for golf in january. Could be a rumour but that's what I heard. Worth checking out I guess.

    Claude, that would only be a rumor as I e-mailed the folks at the Coliseum and they said there will be NO golf this year - it's too bad as it is very centrally located.

    indoor

    Well I'll have to tell my friend to forget about the indoor range as he was looking forward to it as he works 1 week and gets 1 week off, so great for him to go there during the day. Thanks for clearing it out.
