    Awesome Band!!

Just came across this while searching for something new. Band is called "UnEarth". If you like Scandinavian death metal (more melodic than its American counterparts), this band is along the lines of CoB, Soilwork, Shadowsfall, and the like.

I am a big fan of Testament's later stuff, Entombed, Obituary, Death, Cannibal Corpse (well, not the lyrics), and stuff like that, just to give you an idea...

    Band's Website

Enjoy, and keep those elbows up!

    Dan,

Have not heard of this band, but am looking into it as I type. That's quite an array of bands, and was wondering if you have any other Euro finds? I like several of those band's you mentioned, and am always looking for another band to listen to.

Do you prefer really melodic stuff (the Iron Maiden genre) or really powerful stuff (the Pantera genre)? One band I left out was "In Flames", although I'm not huge on them...

I like both Maiden and Pantera, but probably Maiden more, as i'm partial to eighties metal. In Flames is solid, but haven't heard much if any of their new stuff. Went to see Moonspell and Cradle of Filth in Montreal two years ago, and actuall sat with three members of Filth, good times, good guys. I can't say I'm happy with where Metal has progressed to, but it's still better than today's pop-punk that rule the air waves.
