I would countinue to own the membership and be financially responsible for all matters pertaining to said membership.
The rights to golf on that membership for a specified number of years would be granted to you. In this case up to 5 years. Renewable after that time.
A deposit would be required from you, 100% refundabe after 5 years.
You would be responsible for paying the Annual dues and be responsible for all other charges that you incur. In essence, all rights and playing priveliges would be afforded to you as a full member.
As you know, this is a first class organization renowned for the quality of it's courses, personnel, and service.

Sounds a bit fishy to me....
Unless the Clublink By-Laws have changed I don't think you are allowed to do this with your membership.
7.3 --- Except as set out in Sections 7.1 and 7.2 and subject to any ClubLink Privileges provided pursuant to Section 18 that may permit transfer of a Membership to another ClubLink Club or otherwise, Memberships are non-transferrable. No Member may in any way advertise their Membership for use, sale or transfer, or permit the use or transfer of membership rights and privileges except in accordance with the Membership Plan and By-law.

Fullfilled!
As of 5:03 pm today, an agreement was reached to afford golfing privilege to an avid golfer. I would like to thank everyone who has shown an interest in golfing and being associated with such a fine organization as Clublink. I would urge you all to continue to explore the membership possibilities.
