Spine aligning steel shafts
Is spine aligning steel shafts worthwhile? If so tell me why.

Not sure. But here's some data to chew on.
I had my last set of steel shafts "PURE'd" from Golfsmith. Rifle Air Lites, 3-iron to Wedge. There were actually 3 wedge shafts.
The PURE report gives you something called a Load Symmetry Index, which is a measure of the stiffness/roundness/straightness of the shaft around all 360 degrees.
For the iron shafts, the biggest "assymmetry" that was reported was 6% and the wedge shafts were 8%.
Not sure what that means to the consistency of the shafts, but there's the data.
