Rolling Stones Golfing in Ottawa

I heard the Rolling Stones are golfing today in Ottawa. Anyone know where? Imagine you are at that golf course today and you hear off the speaker, "Next on the tee, the Rolling Stones!" Can you imagine!!!

My office overlooks the 16th green at the Marshes. I'll keep my eyes peeled for the entourage. However, they are just in the process of top dressing the green, so Mick and the boys might not be happy and if the Marshes had advance notice that would be pretty bad planning on their part.

I heard Mick & Terry Matthews are fairly good friends so it would seem like Marshes is a good bet.

What is your confirmation? I just called the Pro Shop and the girl said they are NOT playing nor do they have a tee-timee for today. Maybe she was lying?

The Rolling Stones convoy of golf carts (about 6 of them) just rolled past the 16th green of the Marshes about 10 minutes ago.

They didn't play 16 because the sprinklers were on because of the punching / top dressing that happened this morning.

My confirmation was a source similar to jvincent: an acquaintence who has a good view of the course from his office

They were in the market last night shooting a video, there for many hours.

The video was shot partially @ Zaphod's....and they're apparently shooting a few more scenes @ Parliament Hill.

A couple of my buddies were in the filming @ Zaphod's

Ya, they used quite a few locals in the shoot...they also had 4 giant RVs, a giant catering trailor, police/security, about 50 gawkers, and 3 paparazzi...no thanks.

Couldn't see if Keith had a cig. The cart was moving too fast.

I almost missed them because they didn't stop on 16 but I just happened to be looking at the course when I noticed an unusually large number of carts coming down the path.
