"Length" on Manufacturer's Websites.
Where do the manufacturers measure the "length" from when they give this measurement along with the loft angles and other measurements? Is it from the end of the hosel to the end of the shaft?

Most of time, from what I've seen in shops, length is measured from the bottom of the heel to the end of the grip (buttend). Most shops have a ruler which is flat on the workbench with an agled type foot on which the bottom of the head is placed against. The rest of the club is layed down on the ruler and the measurement is taken. As for loft and lie, I'm sure manufacturers use different ways to measure such things. From what I gather Ping is still using their ET (effective trajectory) method of measuring loft so right away they are different. Hope this answers any of your questions.

Or loft can be measured on a loft and lie machine or with a specific gauge.
