Only thing I dont understand in your post is that your wife understands it's a long cold winter yet there are 8 months of golf (april to november) to 4 months of winter (no golf months)

48. I feel like a slacker. It'll be 50 by the weekend.

As of yesterday, I am at 73 (not counting the 28 rounds in Palm Springs in Feb/March on vacation) Feeling pretty damned good about it. 6 years ago, got in 162 rounds in 6 months. Averaged 6 games a week..... Yes, work did get in the way a little!

Actually i didn't buy the beer, it was a staff Tournament so the boss had a running tab for us all. Has anyone been up to that little course? Its quite cute actually! Its a par 3 but there are a couple holes where you'd want a 5 or possibly 3 wood. And its in great shape. I mean hey, for $ 12.00 you can't go wrong. So My HOLE IN ONE was my first one and it was so exciting! I haven't played much this year but i was playing so well on friday... i kicked everyone's bu**.
It was 110 yards and i used my 9 iron. (shtick said it was a wedge) he is just trying to make it sound better then it was. I hope you all get a hole in one !!! it is such a rush!
