These are pretty big pipes. The ditches have been there all season. They are on several holes on the course running the full length of some holes. They should be filled by next season since the installation of the pipes is now underway. Remember that this is a brand new course and the drainage / irrigation system is just not finished yet.

Ditches fall within the definition of a Water Hazard. My dictionary says 'a narrow channel dug to hold or carry water
Call them trenches instead. Trenches are not a water course, they are dug to allow pipes or cables to be laid (or to fight wars).
