Beer Carts
I've been to two different courses this past couple of weeks and both times, through 18 holes have not seen a beer cart. Now I know couses are not obligated to provide refreshments, but isn't it in their best interest, I mean they must make a few extra bucks selling beers etc.
Lets hear it for Falcon Ridge....their cart ladies come around so often you don't have time to get thirsty!

Actually...Falcon Ridge had the worst service I'd ever seen from a golf course with respect to their beer cart service.
I was playing there last week and the beer cart girl never got out of the cart. She just sat there and pointed where all the items were that I was looking for. And the worst part of it was there were two girls in the cart at the time. It was like self serve. Needless to say she got no tip for her lack of service. It is a little frustrating when you are trying to not spend to much time and you have to search for everything yourself.

ditto
Very poor beer cart experience for me at Falcon Ridge. Hottest day of the year and when we finally see the cart after 8 holes - NO BEER left, only these sickening cooler things which we snapped up but suddenly felt the urge to hit from the reds on the next tee!

hmmmmmm
I wonder if the owners know that this is happening when they hire these people???
I too was amazed that when we were there, the only time we saw her was also on the 18th tee. Good thing it was hot, we did buy beer!

I remember a first hand story about a beer cart girl who was consuming some of the wares (which were bought by said first-hander)... apparently it takes a while for the chiefs to find out what the indians are up to....
