    macgregor vs Mizuno

I'm looking to move to a set of complete blades and have had my mind made up on Mizuno mp-33's for awhile now.
However, I was at the range yesterday and they have a set of Macgregor vip 1025M blades there for a decent price. I hit them and really liked the feel and feedback.
Has anyone else used these clubs? I don't know much about Macgregor equipment, so I wanted to see if I could get some info first before I decide to buy them.
    Any input would help.
    Thanks

    Wilson

Have you tried the WILSON Fi5 forged irons? I hit them at a Demo day, along with the MP33's. I found both to be solid irons and the Wilson's are about $300 less than the MP33's if you are buying new clubs.
Just a suggestion, don't take my word on this matter

Here is the link to the Fi5 irons.

    Another idea

If you are just starting to experiment with blades and don't want to drop a tonne of cash, I have a set of Wilson Staff Fluid Feel Forged Blades for sale. 3-PW, TT Dynamic regular flex. Lamkin PermaWrap grips with about 8 rounds on them.

Standard length, loft, lies. Asking $150.

I can't speak for MacGregor irons but I am borrowing a set of MP-14s from The Saint while I await my new set being built and have to say for a blade they are "fairly" easy to hit. I have hit the 33s and they are a super iron. Once again "fairly" forgiving for a blade. I'm sure if you like, when my set is done, the Saint would probably let you take these out for a test run before you settle on 33s or MacGregors. Just to give you the feel of another set of Mizuno irons to compare quality to the 33s or MacGregors. Hope this helps.

Don't overlook the MP37's or MP32's. For blades, the MP33 sure hit the ball high. The MP37's is a little bit heavier and has a more solid feel to it. The MP32's are sick as far as forgiveness goes for a set of blades.
