How Many Can He Win Now?
First off that was a great win for Phil. To be in the lead most of the week and hang on is hard on the mind. Although he faltered somewhat coming down the home stretch so did others. The course was playing tough, as it should in a Major.
Second: Now that Phil has it figured out, Majors are not won by going for broke, Majors are won by staying patient. I wonder how many more he can win?
Put it in perspective here, there has been two professional golfers who have won two majors each in the past 2 years, Phil and Woods. Phil won both of his outright, Woods won the Masters in a playoff.
I feel that Phil has matured enough now to go on and win a few more Major titles.
Wasn't it great how the crowds got behind him and cheered for him all week? He was shown a lot of love in New Jersey.
Congrats to Phil. A well deserved Major win.My opinions are my own, I do not follow others.
