    Painful to watch

Unless a the golf gods create a miracle, it looks like Eldrick won't be around for the weekend. That will just seem strange to have the weekend at a major and no Tiger.
So much for the chance of seeing Tiger run off four consecutive majors.

Just heard an interview with Charles Barkley. Great answers to "who is in better condition, you or Tiger?" And the answser was................ "Tiger has a six pack and I have a keg" followed by ........."who brings only six beer to a gathering anyway?"

I think it'll be nice to have an entire 2 days watching golf without seeing Tiger scartch his crotch, eat his banana, sneeze, wipe his nose, wipe Stevie's nose etc.

Kersplash on #4, and with that it is all but confirmed that Tiger will not be around for the weekend.
And painful because after watching the displays he put on in the Masters and Opens, to see him shoot many over par just hurts to see, in my eyes anyways.

Only problem with that is they will still talk about what the cat would do here and what the cat would be IF he was still playing. Replay after replay of his bad shots from today. If only we could see none of that.

Tree limb just fell into the boom operator on the 4th hole near the green and hit him (he is ok), now clearing the way cuz they still hear craking of more branches

I liked Barklay saying "Don't show his mouth" right after Tiger put it in the water. Was he expecting an f-bomb?

reminds me of when Charles and Tiger were playing a pro-am a few years back:

Tiger: Hey Charles did you hear they are building one of those big box stores around here?

    Charles: No, I hadn't. Where?

Tiger: In between your ball and mine.

What I find painfull to watch is Tiger Tiger Tiger when there are 140 OTHER players out there 74 of whom will actually make the cut.

Why should we care more about watching Tiger sweat through his shirt when there are people I'd rather watch PLAY WELL!

If were gonna watch guys struggle to make the cut, whay aren't we seeing every shot Duval makes?

Isn't there a chick flick on somewhere?

2 reasons: Tiger lovers want to see him possibly make the cut and shoot the lights out on the back nine and Tiger Haters want to see him play poorly and miss the cut. Come on Tiger Haters admit that you enjoy watching him play poorly now! Everybody is happy this way.

I am neither a Tiger "lover" or "hater". I'm Switzerland regarding Tiger. I tune in to a major to watch the best players. That does not include Tiger this week. Sure, show some Tiger, but not every shot he plays. That is for the leaders.

Again, it's what the media is pushed by the general viewing population to do, show Tiger, the good, the bad, the swearing and the ugly

    Eldrick

Ah crap Eldrick is getting closer to the cut line. Someone needs to "STEP ON HIS BALL". I also think it would be nice not to have to watch him for every shot this weekend. Good thing is if he makes the cut he will go off so friggin early the TV cameras will still be covered up to protect them from the dew

Looks like Weir is at the cut line again. One more insurance birdie would be nice.

Amazing that all you Tiger hatters always complain about the Tiger threads but always manage to be present in those threads. Pathetic!!!

    Go Tiger, climb that leaderboard.
Go Phil runaway with the lead.

What's pathetic mike? We talked all day, and like edsgolf said it made good drama on day 2. I like the the way you all step in AFTER the fact.

What’s pathetic is you complain about every Tiger posts but always participate.

I was in a meeting almost all afternoon and did not have time to look at new posts. Sorry to disappoint you.

Well one thing for sure, Woods has no where to go but UP THE LEADERBOARD The beauty of this is he will be finished his round before the leaders go to the range. So there won't be much Woods TV for us to sit through tomorrow afternoon.
Plus who said we hate Woods? No one said they outright hate him. Dislike maybe, hate no.
I did like the camera shot of him kicking his bag on Thursday though Another good thing is, Woods won't have to worry about anyone stepping on his wayward drives tomorrow, there will not be many fans out there that early!

The afternoon "DRAMA" was watching Jerry Kelly put together a round of 65. In reality there was no drama, everyone knew no one was going to catch Lefty.

    Heres the thing
If Tiger had missed the cut, the major will probably be remembered as being the FIRST major Tiger missed the cut at.

So that's why the networks showed so much Tiger. Even if he's going to miss the cut, that's big news

It's all irrelevant now. Made the cut. All the haters need to just shut up now.
