which stakes can be moved if they interfer with your swing or are you allowed to move any at all ( i know that white stakes cannot be moved)
playing today and ball was not in side the red stake however i could not swing my club without hitting the red stake
can i move the stake and then put it back
could not find answer in usga web site

If you can easily pull out the stake without breaking it, then pull it out, play your stroke and replace the stake.
If you can not pull out the stake, then you are allowed to drop without penalty away from the stake as per Rule 24-2b.

Objects defining out of bounds are not obstructions and are deemed to be fixed.
