    Shafting mismatch

    Hi,

    I would like to re-shaft my irons from the 5 to the gap with DG 105's. I found all of them but the 5 iron, which seems to not exist in the country. One repair person suggested using a 4 iron shaft and another suggested a 6 iron shaft in the 5 iron, essentially hard or soft stepping that club.

    How much will this affect playability? Is this going to be noticeable to the average player?

    Or you could buy a blank .370 but the head would have to be reamed by a clubmaker

    Hello all,

    I have a pretty high tech shop with all the computerized shaft profiling equipment needed to step the shaft to match the others.
