Driver head bolt replacement

The bolt that screws into my shaft adapter snapped of my ping driver. Ping sent me a replacement shaft and bolt? what is the best way to reinstall the bolt. I need to add the rubber washer on the inside of the head without it falling and it is proving difficult.

Did this a few times
Put the washer in the head
Center it
Put the shaft in (or a plastic tube)
Hold the pressure
Flip it over
Screw in the bolt through the washer
Could take a few tries
