Does anyone know if it’s possible to get a cheap used or new bender? I would like to play around with one with my clubs. I don’t plan to make money with it. Just something to adjust my clubs. Any idea anyone?
Thanks
Mike

You'll see them occasionally on ebay and there have been a couple here.
Sometimes Golfsmith and Golfworks will have a big blowout sale (40% off) on their new machines too.
Thanks for the info. I did not find anything on ebay.
If anyone has a used bender for sale please let me know.
Another place to check is - www.freegolfinfo.com - occasionally machines come up for sale.
I just received my Golfsmith sale flyer in the mail and the bending machine is currently on sale for $470 CDN. Not sure what shipping is.
That’s too expensive for me.
Mike, I was on the GEA and a thread there directed me to the hobbyist section of the Mitchell site.

They have some less expensive options.

I would not invest in one if I were you unless you're thinking of going into clubmaking full time. The amount you will bend will not justify the cost and the cheapo models are heck to work with. I had one before and I returned it . You got to use a magnetic protracttor the check the changes and you have to have a very sturdy workbench and vise to do so.
Here is a simple way for you to check the lies. There is a hitiing bay at HP. If you hit irons off it that will leave a distinct mark on the sole of the clubs. If you only want to bend 1 or 2 clubs just take it to a clubmaker who will probaly charge you less than 10 for the job.
