Graham Cooke is the designer: www.grahamcooke.ca

interesting...
Don't expect this one anytime soon - from what I heard, the builders want to wait untill ALL the houses of Phase 1 are sold, which isn't done yet, before they start building the course.
You can see a plan of the course here:

Hi Jeff i live next door to the futur Escarpement course and nothing is happening so far as building the course is concerned. A lot of new housing construction but nothing in the way of golf course.I assume this is a plan to sell the houses in the area and the course will be built at a later time.As you know these things take time with municipal laws, enviroment issues ecttt. i will keep you posted if i hear anything .
Cheers

Any Ideas on if there will be playing/ practise memberships availible? I live right around the corner?
If you mean at the par 3 in Orleans, no there will not be any memberships available. I got this from Charlie who runs the range last year at some point.
Would you have an idea of how much a round could cost? I heard a rumour that it could be above $30 - hopefully not, but they may not want to steal customers from their driving range operation if it is too cheap..
I'm also curious as to how they plan to avoid balls going on the 417 that is right next to it... it would have to be an awfully high net to prevent some of my slices from going overtop :P

It's a par3, hopefully you don't slice to many 8 or 9 irons...
Also from the look of it last summer, it's a bit high end with the good sand the named designer. Look for prices around Marshwood's.
