Does anyone have a good way of learning the rules of golf? I've read them but without quizes and visuals its really hard to get them to stick. Anyway thoughts? Rules officals, how did you go about studying for your tests?

I am interested too. An outing would be fun where you learn what you should do in certain situations. I find it hard to visualize.:confusedQuote:

Its not as easy as it sounds - especially if you play with a regular group that has their own rules for play - but personal experience trumps reading and studying every time.
If you play enough golf, rules questions will always come up in the normal course of play. Make a point of finding out the correct answers. When you find out the correct answers, you will remember them because they happened to you or to someone you were playing with.
Learn the definitions first.
Remember that the rules are sequenced logically in relation to play.
I have found that song lyrics are easy to remember. Anyone want to put the rules to music?
