NO HOUSES? - Pawley's / Murrell's Inlet Area (Myrtle Beach)

Just got back last week and was rather disappointed by the front 9 @ Pawley's Plantation due to encroaching houses, TPC and Wild Wing were no problem.

Heading down this Oct/Nov to play in the Pawley's Island Murrell's Inlet Area
Got my eye on a few that I guess are referred to as being in the "The Waccamaw Golf Trail" area...Heritage, River Club, Caledonia, True Blue.

Don't get me wrong, a few tastefully placed houses/condos set back a bit are OK.
House, after house after house lining the fairways, 6 feet off the edge of the fairways
is not OK (Burning Ridge).
Any recommendations for relatively house free courses in the area?
If we've gotta travel...oh well.
