Also, does Foresight have the GC2-T at the show for demo?
AND...would love to hear more about the Flightscope Xi possibly being available for use with E6.

I've confirmed the Xi does not support any PC connection...which I'm told means simulator use is out.
We have some time to kill at the show today. Let me know of you have any questions for any of the companies here.
Talked to Ernest sports. ES14 measures club head and ball speed. Spin is calculated.
Mobile device connectivity only, no PC connectivity or simulator use.
Well, there ya go...
Anything too good to be true usually is! :irked:
And the ship sails on with the ES 14 just getting to the dock.
Is Flightscope's T-Box dead and buried? Or is there a chance of its revival?
Ok...full story on Flightscope support:
Xi and Xi+ are too new to support E6. They want to support the software, but they need to first get it working with the new devices and second figure out how best to simulate rounds since they're collecting so much less data than the X2. No time frame and no 100% commitment on support but it's where they want to go.
Okay...good information!
Can you stop by the Foresight booth and see if they have the GC2T being demonstrated? Would love to know more about that.
cbehan, would you be willing to contact SimTech and setup a meet?
There's been little info release regarding their simulator other than what's on their website and what I relayed from a quick facebook chat with an employee.
That'd be great, if possible.
Also, are they demo-ing the FSX Play software? What resolutions will it offer and what are the PC spec requirements to run it full tilt?
cbehan.
Would you please ask foresight folks what are for 2014 package option (sim & fitting software) and listing price with GC2a. Any increase from last year?
Thks
More on FSX:
$995 to upgrade from FR1.
Wouldn't commit to specific requirements, but he said they are higher, but you can turn off features for older systems to play smoothly. He said targeting a $500 video card would get you working well with everything on.
Bad news: one course right now. Will be developing as many as one a month, but will be a la carte addons. (Probably sold in discounted packs eventually)
Good news: video will go to 4K. I took a video of a hole flyby on a 4K TV that I'll try to upload to youtube later.
I wonder how much to purchase the software outright for a new buyer, and not an upgrade?
How does it look and what do you think? Looking forward to seeing any videos you can post, and thanks for making the effort.
Those prices are just ridiculous.
Simtech does not have a booth but said they would be around to meet up. The contact is nick@simtechgolf.com Maybe you could email and arrange a meet?

And this was posted on another site from ZMax (perfect parallel is the software partner of SimTech, same company):
"Perfect Parallel will be at the PGA Show this year in Orlando. While we will not have a booth we are open to setting aside a day to meet anyone who is going there to meet the team discuss development and meet some of us. We were thinking Thursday Jan 23rd. We will be at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, One Grand Cypress Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32836
Please let us know if you are interested in meeting. Based on response we may set up a dedicated place to meet."
This may be a stretch, but a few of us are dying to find out more about this product. Thanks!
Hi folks, here in Europe we are waiting for the first video from Foresight :) It's exciting :)
Hey All,
I am in the airport trying to make my way home, but here are a few notes for y'all:
1. I have to have all of my Foresight videos approved by Foresight before I can make them public. (hopefully that will get approved within the next few days, but there are no guarantees)
2. All of the videos I took are now posted (obviously except the Foresight videos).
3. I posted the videos at the end of each day - due to the size of the videos and the speed of the hotel internet connection, the videos take all night to post
4. I had a meeting scheduled with SimTech yesterday and they cancelled it at the last second as they said they got stuck in traffic - we were unable to work out a time so I didn't see it. One of my associates got bumped several times and wasn't able to see them either. However, one of my clients did get a meeting with them and they were only showing the PP software - NO sensor. I guess they just weren't ready yet. Too bad.
5. I did hear about the new system that is coming, but was not able to work my magic to see it (supposedly it was there being demo'd to high profile clients only and they ALL had to sign an NDA). The feedback was good, but I wasn't able to get any official release date.
6. Sports Coach is now officially integrated with E6 - and more sims to come!
For more info, please check out the videos or you can always send me an email at cory@par2pro.com.
Happy Golfing!
Cory
So Foresight has to "approve" your videos before release. Are they the only company that requests that?
Yup, but I can respect that they want to ensure the proper information gets said. We all make mistakes and they just want to ensure that whatever is public is the correct information :)
