Anyone knows of a place that offer these services in this region or in Montreal/Toronto? I called Hydrauli-chrome inc. in Ottawa and they can't do it and don't know of any other places that can do it.
I received a quote from the iron factory (USA) but would like to see if there are other cheaper options.
Ok, found an interesting option. Gary's custom cycle in Ottawa. I'll give an update as far as price goes and results for other people who might be interested.
I assume you know, but just in case, the irons will be quite a bit lighter after de-chroming so you will need to add weight back somehow.
Just curious, what heads are you de-chroming?

Yeah, it's an electrochemical strip. I'd do it myself if it wasn't for the nasty chemicals, and the fear of unleashing a toxic cloud on my neighbourhood. :-)Quote:

very interesting I would like to see some prices too. would there be a risk of the chrome being thicker than what is used on golf clubs.
