How do you tell what year the putter was made

I was wondering how to tell the difference in the age of putters... Obviously you can go to Scottys site and look in the archives. But for a California Monterey, on the site the picture is the same for the 2009 2010 and 2011. How do you tell them apart? Also was wondering about the Newport 2 and the Laguna 2?

Cameron released the California Series putters in 2010 and kept them in the line up for 2011. I don't believe there was a Monterey in 2009 as there wasn't a California series in 2009. To my knowledge there is no way to tell the difference between a monterey putter made in 2010 or 2011. Similarly you can't tell which D10 drivers were made last year compared to this year. I am assuming the Newport and Laguna that you are referring to are Studio Selects? If so, the Laguna models were released in 2010 and continued in the 2011 line up where as the Newports were part of the studio select line up starting in 2008 when they were released. There shouldn't be any difference in the putters from one year to the next.

The same will hold true for other camerons that are part of a specific line the he releases. Hope this makes sense and helps.
