Thinking of heading out to Loch Marsh soon, how bad are the mosquitoes at Loch Marsh? With the spring we had, it has been a prefect for mosquitoes breeding.
Thanks,
Dave

They're really bad at Cedarhill this weekend. I can only imagine what Loch Marsh is like, given its location.
I would think they are bad everywhere right now with all the rain and humid conditions
Played Loch March this morning and didn't see many mosquitos at all. There were, however, a few holes (mainly near the location of the clubhouse) where the black flies were THICK!!!!
We were in a cart so it was easy enough to get away from them and only have to put up with them for a handful of shots, but they were pretty bad when they were out.
Overall though, it wasn't as bad as what I was expecting.
Played there this afternoon but didn't find bugs of any sort to be any worse than anywhere else I've played this year. Staff and service at Loch March were excellent.
Haven't been to Loch March but I do live in the area. Kanata North is in its 2nd year of localized mosquito control treatment and I suspect Loch March is benefiting from it. I notice a big decline from my house in Morgans Grant.
I think I read in the paper that during a 1 hour sample taken both inside and outside the treatment zone the mosquitoes trapped dropped from 2000 to 40. Thats a pretty substantial decrease if all other factors are the same.
I was wondering if the Kanata mosquito program was going to help out Loch March.
played LM today , they were tolerable until 15 thru 18. Particulary thick on 15 but much better than I remember in the past.
