I am interested in purchasing a lie/loft bending machine as there is not a single person who does this in my area.
I have looked at the ones at golfsmith and golfworks, but I just cannot find anywhere that lets me know which is the better deal or superior machine.
Any help is much appreciated.

I've used the Golfsmith machine and it's decent enough. If you are only planning on doing a few clubs for yourself here and there then either is probably OK.
If you want a more serious machine then you might want to look for a used Mitchell, they have a hobbyist version, or one of the MR3 machines. These are very popular.

Depends on your budget butthe best buy out there is the true blue. It bends woods and hybrids as well.

Well since I am going to be the go to guy in the city, then I would like to get a machine that is reliable and is going to produce quality work.
I think I would like to spend no more than 1500$ for total setup.
I think I would make that back in a year at least charging 6 dollars a club or 45$ a set.
I am also CPGA and a certified club fitter and could fit the person right there in my garage, so that is some value added to the deal.

trailer hitch? I think I will be setup in my garage and not be driving it around town.

Any good reference guides on proper bending tips and procedures. I have a good backround already, but the more information the better.
Also, do any of you make the client sign waivers stating you are not responsible for broken irons.

Trailer hitch for adjusting irons on the spot at the range.Got the tip from mysticalwarrior. Lots of beliefs going around because of sole curvature. In a garage and in a net does not show real ball flight. You should speak to Tim Hewitt regarding waivers. Tim is one of the best in the business. He also sells the True Blue at the same cost.Quote:

Ive been using the true blue for two years now and love it the only thin I have had to was caused by my own lack of thought when doing putters that and it doesnt really come with a manual. I had to go to the company for some screws but they sent them to me right away no charge. Dealing with the company was pretty good the owner is recoverying froma heart attack last year so his son is taking over slowly but he service has been great so far.
