Anybody try these? They are new by Adams this year and have the "funky shafts" - both metal and graphite.
They look like an alien pet dumped on the end of a repaired fishing rod.
I'm sorry Barney, but, a golf club has to instill confidence from the look as well. Perhaps that's why so many opt for the 975 series. In any case, I personally think it would take me a LONG time to become accustomed to this Frankenstein.

That's why I asked people if they tried them as opposed to getting someone who just looked at them and said "Frankenstein clubs". Confidence is in the eye of the user. And no I do not play them.:

Darren Kelso, assistant pro at Carleton Yacht, plays them and absolutely LOVES them.
And, of course Tom Watson plays them too. Personally, I wouldn't, but I don't change my opinion of anybody else if they do.
As always, Chuck Browns will let you demo any club, and they have at least one of these to lend out. I almost tried it, but I just couldn't get used to the look.
