Wedge
Can anyone tell me what I have, I picked up a used club at a course down here in Florida, it is a Cleveland wedge with a regular flex graphite shaft, deep hollow back with "launcher" marked on the back cavity and the letter "D" on the sole instead of either a "W"or "P"or "A". Anyone know what the "D" signifies?
Thx,Brian

D is Cleveland's equivalent of gap wedge, or as my friend likes to call his Cleveland D wedge, his "disgusting" wedge. I'm still not sure if he says that for reference to his good shots with it, or for the more common fat and thin shots he hits with it. Haha!

DUAL WEDGE. A high-lofted club used for precision shots to the green. In a set of irons with graduated lofts, the dual wedge would be considered one club shorter than a pitching wedge and one club longer than a sand wedge.Jul 15, 2012
