Looks like the leafs are oficially knocked out of the playoffs!!:hyper::hyper::hyper:
Lightning won today and knocked them out, good to finally see. Now perhaps there is a chance that we will get to see Sens games on CBC during the playoffs!

yep, toronto's gone, but ottawa looked like crap tonight. we won't be going anywhere if we play like that
Best day ever!
Nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah nah, hey hey hey..... gooooooodbye....
I disagree about it being the best day ever... it would have been a good day if we put a whomping on them and knocked them out. But we (the Sens) just got embarassed by a team that's not even making the playoffs. Sure, I'm glad the leafs are out, but this isn't the way it should have happened. I personally was looking forward to seeing them squeak in and then beating them soundly in the first round
You also have to hand it to them though for playing great hockey for the last two weeks. there's no way it should have even been this close.
I for one am a Leafs fan. I am also very happy that they did not make the playoffs. Hopefully they will start the rebuliding process that should have started when they lost Doug Gilmour.
probably the best thing that could have happened to them was not making it....some big changes are in order and in the long run this will be good for them.
Who do we want, Montreal, Tampa or Atlanta if they squeeze in?
I doubt it very much. Why fix something that aint broke. They still will have the building sold out with corporations buying up all those tickets. Why would you spend money if you still can sell the place out. Botom line counts,. and bottom line is The Leafs Suck!:laughing:Quote:

I would say the Sens would want Tampa. They have the most inconsistent goaltending out of the three and i don't think Atlanta would be the most comfortable place for Heatley to have to play in. I think the Sens can skate with the Lightning and Chara/Phillips can shut down the St. Louis/Richards/Lecavalier line.Quote:
