Love my Bushnell Tour Z6. It's fast, easy to use and very accurate.
Have you considered the Leupold GX3i, I have one and have no complaints. Bright image, easy to lock onto a target and scan multiple targets, very clear and when aiming at a flag with reflectors instant feedback when locked on. These are not cheap, but I have not had buyers remorse.

I've had both Leupold and bushnell and prefer Leupold.
I picked up the callaway razr rangefinder last year ,great little device, I can't fault it
I just read on the Golf Channel app that the Leopold devices are now legal to use as long as the yellow plate that changes it to be a slope rangefinder isn't used. This will probably help sell lots of their devices as in a practice round you slap the plate on and take it off for a tournament. I haven't seen one of these but understand it's really state of the art.
It is a great device, and I did not buy it given that it was illegal to use even with the key off, which did not make any sense. It is actually the perfect caddy as it will also for a couple of other things when recommending a club I believe. If I recall it was also at least another $100 more as well.
I'd love to put a range finder on my birthday list. However, my game isn't accurate enough to justify it. If my shots are +/- 10 yards, what is the point of knowing the distance to the pin more accurately than that?
I find it helps me in understanding my club distances better. I also find it has good benefits at the driving range. On the course, it is part of my routine now and I think it speeds up play as there is no guess work. Even with GPS you kind of have to guess at your distances (and hope that the pin location is accurate which is unfortunately not always the case). My GPS started to shut off on me part way through my rounds and rather than buy a new one, I decided to give laser a try. It has worked great and given that we have big greens on my home course, it does take away a lot of the guess work.
So was there a consensus on which is the one to get?
Leopold over Bushnell. I've owned both and prefer the Leopold.

Thanks for that. I'm still keeping my eyes open for deals..It seems as though the Leopold is not worth the extra cash, according to this test.
I found a Z6 and a V3 on eBay. What is the main difference? The hilarious thing is.....They are from the same seller. Shipping for the Z6 from NYC is $50 USPS!!!! No duties or taxes included...The shipping for the V3 is $15!! WTF!!???
I have a z6 and like it. Its smaller and i think the display is brighter than the v3. Can't go wrong with either one.
I have a Leopold GX-2i and have owned a bushnell tour v2 in the past. I prefer the Leopold. It is smaller, has better optics, and for my golfing level, I didn't notice any difference between the 2.
I've got a basic Leupold ... GX2 I think ... got it if a guy on kijiji .... really great deal. Works like a charm ... our course has the reflectors on top of the flagsticks. Distance is instant ... I can't comment on other brands but the Leupold is a great rangefinder !!!
I have a Z6 with jolt, I like it. Tried a few others but this one will be in the bag a while, screen is bright, easy to read and with the jolt, no doubt when you lock on to the flag.
Not to sure if this is the best place to ask this....but I have the Leupold GX4-i with the removable faceplate for slope or non slop readings. Does anyone else find lens a bit to tinted during cloudy days or around dusk? Without the reflective prisms on the flag sticks I might as well forget it.
