Thx
was up there a month ago. What courses are you referring to? Geant is closed for 2020. Diable was in decent shape but a far cry from what it should be considering the $150 price tag. Greens were just ok with patchy areas. La Belle was in better shape and less than half the price. Montebello was in great shape and the best of the bunch.
Thx Jeff
I have a buddy who lives in the Tremblant area and he confirmed exactly what Jeff noted... plus he said if you are thinking of playing Diable call to ensure you can get a tee time, he noted weekends have been hard to get times except for later in the day.
And letting everyone know that Labelle has been sold, will close to allow more condos to be built
According to Tremblant website Le Geant will be closed again for the 2021 golf season. I heard that they had some issues with landslides on some of the holes. Does anyone have any further news on this? Will this course ever open up again?
I heard this from someone with a cottage in the area. He said that some holes had suffered some damage because of collapsed hillsides and it had damaged holes. Again, this is second hand so I posted to see if anyone had heard something similar.
I guess I would have though we'd have heard something more about that but maybe they want to keep it on the QT.
just heard from a friend of mine who played le Manitou today , he advised told me that this is their last season. They have been sold to the same developer who purchased la Belle.
Man not much left up there. Heard la bete was sold to club link? No la Belle, manitou an geant closed
I have to say I have been doing annual trips with buddies to le Diable and le Geant for the past 6 years ( excluding last year ) ... the wow factor is no longer there. It's good but not world class, overpriced IMO.
You are correct Jeffc....The La Bete website is now under the Clublink Banner.

Both Le Maître and La Bête will continue to operate under their existing structure, with La Bête being a hybrid model consisting of daily fee community access, resort guest access and a local membership. The overall experience at La Bête will be elevated to a standard in keeping with a ClubLink property.
Playing Le maitre and Le Diable Labor Day weekend. Was wondering if anyone has played them recently to see if there trending in the right direction condition wise
anyone hear anything about whether Geant will open this year?
Royal Laurentian is a pretty good alternative to these.
