Poor Mike, his record is now 1 and 9 when he has had the 54 hole lead in a tournament :irked: (at least thats what TGC's Kelly Tilghman said)
Solid start for both Ames and Weir.

If you take out the first 8 holes, Mike finished -5 for the last 10 with that miss on 17 too. Glad to see both Ames and Weir on the top of the leaderboard. Proves that their wins, late last year, weren't flukes.
2 off the lead is still great, if he continues this play he will have a great year. I realilse that 1 for 9 is not good but it would be interesting to see how many 3 round leaders actually end up winning then we can see where he ranks relative to that stat.
