Looking at getting some Pro V1's from 2008 and I've read a few things about shelf life of the "New Age" balls not really being a concern as long as the temperatures where they are stored is not a concern. Any opinions ???

The 2008 proV1x was the best ball I've ever played. I'd like to know where you found them.
Found a website that sells them in bulk but i have to buy 10 dozen. See my other post in classified ads so I don't get in trouble for advertising here.
Funny, when I was at the last Canadian Open at Glen Abbey I overheard one of the pro's and his caddie talking to the Titleist rep. They were discussing the different year golf balls and how the Pro was stuck on the 08 model. It was quite an interesting conversation and it was shocking to know older model balls are still readily available, distributed and played by the pros.
