Shaft advice for 2 iron
I would like to get a proper fitting to figure out what shafts I really need in all my clubs, but I don't really have the money at the moment.
The irons I'm currently playing have TT S200s in them, which I quite like. I have a matching 2 iron that has an s400 in it. I don't like the feel of it so much (seems a bit too stiff, but it may just be in my head).
I use it a lot off the tee, and would like to bring the ballflight down a bit, if possible. Wondering if there are any recommendations for an iron shift that might do the trick

To bring the ball flight down a bit you need stiffer shaft. Perhaps try something else other than TT
Usually the only difference between the S200 and S400 is the weight of the shaft and the difference is so minimal that I would not even bother. 3 grams to be exact

Never measured the frequency but pretty sure the difference is minimal

An S400 is stiffer (and heavier) than an S200, so it's not surprising that you don't like the feel.
IMHO, shaft preference really comes down to feel. If it is going into a Titleist then it is probably a taper tip shaft which doesn't give you many options and most of them are expensive.

It's going into a cleveland blade (TA588, to be exact), if that makes a difference.

The TA588 is a taper as well.
