Will this work without hitting a ball? I'm interested in using this for speed training like the Swing Speed Radar (with Tempo) but the Yupiteru seems to offer more useful features for around the same price.
I think it works best with a ball.
Thanks for your reply. Have you tried the device without hitting a ball and just swinging the club? Did the device display any measurements?
I'm looking to couple one of these with a club analyser such as the swingbyte - what would you recommend? I'm replacing a vector pro which I didn't like and made £50 buying and selling on ebay - and I have an optishot as a sim

SB2 measures 3 dimensional club data, until targetline fix accuracy still to be determined. Yupiteri measures ball and club speed, calculates smash factor, accuracy has not been reported yet. Anyone with a Trackman to test?
