Just saw a commercial on the G.C. and they are advertising Ben Hogan clubs. Have they started the company again? I thought they where discontinued? They have a site and seems like they are selling them on line. Beauty clubs and always been a bit partial to them. OK a lot partial to them.lol
Callaway owns the brand.

Callaway now only owns the rights to the "Apex" name. The clubs are manufactured by a new company. It was called Fort Worth but it may have changed again
Hogan started up again maybe 3 years ago as a completely new company. Callaway sold them the rights to the Hogan brand (but decided to keep the "Apex" name to use for Callaway products.

They typically sell direct to consumer, and from what I read they are really high quality gear that you can get for great prices. For a while they had an iron set where the irons were stamped with the loft, rather than the number, meaning you can get a set in the exact lofts you wanted.
I agree that the Ben Hogan forged sets that i have owned (i think i have owned every model) have been of the best quality. I still have my FTX set and i game them a lot. Forging is soft and they build good looking clubs.Quote:
