1) What is the affect of a shaft extention on iron lie angle? is there a ratio? say 1/2in equals 1deg
2) Can clubs be bent more than once? can they be bent back to original lie?

You are correct that 1/2 inch will increase your lie angle by 1 degree more upright
Yes you can bend a club more than once. It is easier to bend a forged club then it is a cast club. Forged clubs can bend easily 4 degrees where cast clubs can usually only bend about 2 degrees.

What do you think the effects of bending a forged iron from 2up back to standard? I'm guessing the material is somewhat fatigued, but the question is really how much.Quote:
