When I was down there the best courses I liked was Heritage and Arrowhead
If you wanted to treat yourself to a course where good value is still achievable for a top course, then play TPC Myrtle Beach. This year the South Carolina Golf Course Owners Association selected TPC as the 2019 course of the year. When I played it we were almost alone on the course, and its practice facilities were generous. There are comparisons between TPC Myrtle Beach and Augusta. And though I have never played Augusta, yet, I have to agree, the landscape and several holes are certainly similar in appearance. It will be on the expensive side, so it may not satisfy your 'good value' requirement, but if there is one course you could treat yourself to play, this would certainly be one of the best in the area. According to many, it is one of the top five to play in Myrtle Beach, and some reviews say it is in the top three. Of the courses I played in Myrtle Beach, I still think of it often as one I want to return to many times.
thanks Ill check them out
