I'm thinking of buying the adjustable driver selling for 80 bucks at Costco. Has anybody had the opportunity to try it ?
Thanks, Dave

I'd be curious to hear a reply, often handled it at Costco, thought it looked kinda sharp, could buy 5 or 6 of those vs the r7.

Last summer, the Butler driver was selling for just under $100 at Costco. Forgot the model number though. A friend of mine bought one of the last two at a local store.

I'd say buy but reshaft right away with a half decent shaft. The head is probably ok but I bet the shaft is a real piece of ....!
Go Fish, which Costco? I go to the one off Innes rd, never saw it, is it in Kanata?
Lefty, according to GoFish2's info, he is from Nunavut! Didn't know they had Costco's up there!Quote:

That pic is way cool. I know exactly how you feel about the north. Used to live in Inuvik. Wonderful place to live but decidedly uncivilized LOL!
Don't think that will be anytime soon! :hyper:Quote:

I had one great round with it, and i think my swing went downhill after that.
The weights do make a difference in the swing believe it or not, but more for ball flight than for fixing a slice.
The build quality is definitely not great. I hit a few balls a little too close to the top, and the paint chipped away.
The shaft that comes with it is made by Accuflex. Not their top shaft by any means, but not a piece of crap.
Would i buy this thing again? Probably not. If you're actually serious about golf, go get fitted for something that will work for your swing in the long run.
If you're interested in a nice R7 clone so you can play around with the weights, this is something you can get for a cheap price.
