Road trip to Syracuse
Hi everybody,
A buddy and I are going to Syracuse to check out a rock show in June, and we want to play 18 on the way down and also 18 the next day before returning. While Brockville and Prescott are options, I would personally prefer to try out a couple of courses on the US side of the border just for something different. We both shoot in the 90s, so our game doesn't justify spending a ton of cash. Does anyone have any suggestions through the Ogdensburg/Massena corridor or close to the interstate from Watertown down?
Cheers.

Canton, NY, 1/2 hour or south of Ogdensburg, 2 courses there, Partridge Run and St.Lawrence. In Syracuse (Baldwinsville,NY), Timber Banks, a Jack Nicklaus course, plus many others. Watertown also has courses. There is a billboard on I-81 for Ivy Hills Golf, website has bucket of balls, 18 holes with cart and either lunch or dinner for $35.00.
Hope that helps.

Radisson Greens is also in Baldwinsville - designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. We played there and Timber Run a couple of years ago and preferred RG for the golf and non-golf amenities (food services, etc.). Note the TR course has what I've been told are typical Nicklaus greens; 3-4 tiers on each one so if you aren't on the right tier be prepared for adventures on the greens.
