You can take advantage of the new "relief for embedded ball" rule this year :).. Driving by the 19th tee range, it still still looks like a swamp. I don't see any courses within the city limit would dry up in 2-3 weeks.

Add in the snow fall today and golf is a ways off.
Only in Ottawa is there a lot of snow. Crookedcreek Athens. is open and check out the brockville waterfront on this link. https://brockville.com/brockville-live-cam

I'll be right behind you Mr. Chi, I am at 10:22
Saturday supposed to be nice but the tee times were very very few. Had to settle for myself only, joining 3 at 10:15
I had to cancel my time, work got in the way, I hate when that happens, don't they know I prefer golf to almost anything!
Hey if anybody is interested Mountain Creek (Arnprior) will be open this weekend (April 13th), i already have a tee time.
Lets get golfing
Cheers Payne
MAPLEVIEW - opened for golf this Saturday April 13

That is one good reason we should put names on our bags--just like the "big boys" :-) Glad everyone got out--my last game was 10 days ago--I'm not feeling the fever yet :-)
We be returning to Prescott this coming Wednesday. Tee time 11;37 so if anyone else from the forum is there, say hellooo !!! My wife will be joining me so you cant miss us. We are the two seniors walking and carrying our clubs.LOL
I played Mapleview on Saturday afternoon.
Course was remarkably dry, with not a single plugged ball all round.
It was very windy and a little cold at 1:00 for the tee time, but we soon warmed up
and the back nine was glorious weather.
Was thinking of heading to Prescott tomorrow afternoon but worried it might be a sloppy mess after all the rain. Course looks pretty booked though so maybe I'm just being pessimistic. Never played Prescott so not sure how well it drains.
What are the chances of a decent round tomorrow?
Don't mind soft fairways with a few wet spots, but prefer to avoid standing water and spongy ground (step and water rises up to surface as shoes sink).
I am playing Mapleview and it has not rained much since last night and drying out today very well, probably as far as Prescott from Ottawa. I suspect there will be a few wet spots but hey that is why they have a rule for standing water.
I played Prescott Tuesday and yesterday. It’s in good shape. As of yesterday no standing water and no plugged balls. I’m heading back tomorrow.
