Twilight Tracer Golf Ball
I have been selling this ball for the last 5 years. The strobe or flash lasts 5 minutes from impact and then is programed to shut off. It has a shelf life or strobe life of 45 hours. It is approx. an 80 compression golf ball. From hitting it (great also for practice in a football field in the late evening) it travels approx. 80% of an average ball distance.
I sold a bunch to a long drive friend who owns a golf course and they were having a midnight golf tournament. On the first tee he bounced the golf ball off the face of the club to activated it. He then started to explain the rules. The person who comes in with the lowest score wins the tournament and they must also finish with the origional marked golf ball that they started off with. The only other added rule was , if you loose the ball you are automatically out of the tournament.
He placed the ball on the 1st tee and using his long drive club pounded it straight down the middle of the number 1 hole. While he and the others were watching the amazing shot the ball shut itself off in mid flight.... The bad news was his tournament was finished on the first hole with his first and longest hit in the event ... The good news was that he found the ball the next day straight down the middle of the fairway some 300 yards out!
That's golf at its best I guess!:thumbsup
