Were you able to post it to youtube? I couldn't find it. Thanks!
So curious. Of all the golf show and people that went. Was there any new systems that have come out for a simulator room that are more reasonable priced but still accurate?
Looks like SimTech still needs to be proven going by earlier comments on this thread and the mystery system that Bubba22 has hinted at was not ready for launch at the show. Pity.
A little bit of disappointment here. Seems that I will have to skip this simulator season and start looking for next winter...
Lots of disappointments. Bubba was said he was going to try and visit Martin so he could see the LX pro in action - crickets so far.
He just got there.
Zmax,
Cool.
How long does it take them to approve a simple video? I mean seriously, it's a video with likely representatives from Foresight. Lets say for whatever reason the video doesn't get approved... then you won't have any video as the show would be over. It's not like you can have a do-over. What are they afraid of?
Don't blame Foresight as I didn't get the links to them until yesterday (I sent them all at once when I got home after being stuck in flight delays / cancellations and such)...
I am sure they are swamped getting back from the show. I would give it until the end of the week :)
Cool!
Hey All, the Foresight videos are approved and posted!

UGH, he didn't hit a shot on the GC2T...is it even functional yet?
Cory, thanks for the videos.
Did you get any more info on the new software modules outside of course on the video. I could see a new range on your videos.
I am very curious about their FSX Compete module. Hoping it is a trackman combine sort of thing where you take shots at various target distances and get a score based on how close to target you are. Seeing they are setting up a cloud service to store user data, I am hoping this is what this module will be.
Let us know if you heard anything else about this.
Interesting that the GC2-K uses the same HMT device to get club data and just hangs off the side. Basically shows you that the HMT is not going anywhere anytime soon.
You are very welcome :)
Unfortunately I was not able to get any further videos on the software. I don't think that they were quite ready for the FULL demo.
That being said, yes they are working on a combine system and should have that out with the new software when it is released.
Should be very cool!
Cory
That was not their 'final' product - it was just a temporary setup to show that it can be done in the interim if needed.
They couldn't give me an ETA on the 'final' product, but said that they are working on it.
All that being said, the HMT is definitely still not going anywhere.
I was wondering what a new GC2 or GC2-T + iPad (and nothing else) would give you? Sorry if this is answered somewhere else but I'm new and having troubles sifting through all of this great information!
Welcome trumb1mj,
Best bet would be to check out the screen shots here:

Without the HMT, there is NO club data. (well that is not entirely true, I have seen the club speed and smash factor estimated based on the ball flight from the GC2 and no HMT, but the estimates are WAYYYY off).
Hope that helps :)
Cory
Yep, that helps. I've been working on my swing at a golftec that uses GC2s plus driving range software WITHOUT the extra head analysis cameras. Could someone give me a rundown on the accuracy of the numbers I'm seeing? (clubhead speed, ball speed, launch angle, side spin, back spin, total spin, descent angle, carry total, offline, peak height).
If there is an existing post that could explain this for me that would be even better. Thanks!
Foresight website has the accuracy numbers.
Indoors you will be troubled to find better.
nothing at all
Unfortunately I haven't heard anything either :(
I will try PM'ing Bubba.
Thanks Cory
Looks like it is still coming soon - possibly this Spring, but I would say to expect it sometime in summer (based on my past experience).
