Gatineau, April 29th and May 2nd. The fairways are dry, the bunkers were in decent shape and fairly well drained. The greens were a different matter and despite the Pro Shop's assurances that the greens were "perfect" they were not, winter kill, last fall's areation holes, and shaggy would be a more objective opinion. All in all a good day to be out in the wind…
postscript… The tee box on # 1 makes it a par 3!! and the tee box on # 10 is just plain stupid. When will Le Club get it right when it comes to accommodating a golf course with cars and houses??
post postscript…number 9 tee box is 1/2 away up the middle of the fairway…what are these people doing? No explanations from the pro shop. As with the Chateau Cartier the housing developments trump course design every time.
