Has anyone played a lot more or a lot less golf than they thought they would this year? How many rounds are you up to so far (as of the end of May)?

14 (15 tomorrow) Just about normal. I get in about 80 per yr.
I played 12 rounds so far...a lot more than usual. Most rounds I played in a year was 40 and I'm on pace to break that easily. Hoping to play at least 50 rounds this season.
20 rounds so far On pace for my 100 :-)
I'm way below my average however I was out of the country for the start of the golf season.. I've only hit 6 so far.
Most of you dont have kids i assume?:-)
Thats my problem!,hope to get 40-50 in by oct.
I think I have played about 7 or 8, which is a bit below my average. I may have to invest in the Ottawa Golf Club card again this year.
Going by the poll, at the end of this month I should be between 25-30 rounds. Have already played 23, hoping for a round tomorrow and Monday (depends on weather), one later in the week and Intersectional qualifying next Sunday. Hoping to break 100 rounds for the first time.
I have twins, but I'm at about 20 ROUNDS played, not days played.... I am counting unofficially by number of holes played, rather than days played...Quote:

Still well ahead of pace for the year though.

I'm off to a slow start, just 10 rounds in so far in April and May, but add in the 9 rounds in February, and one in March...
I forgot my 5 rounds in Feb. in Myrtle as well. So that puts me over thirty by the end of May. For the last 4 summers I have played about 60 rounds so I am well ahead of my regular pace. Bring on the nice weather and great course conditions.
24 so far. As of yesterday.
4 rounds... I noticed there're 7 stamps on my range card, guess I've been a bit more discipline working on my short game trying to break 90 the legal way :-) With all the rain, I'm surprise many courses condition still have not improved..
New baby :hyper: = only three rounds :rolleyes = not playing well at all :mecry .

Sorry, a 2 ½ year old and a 6 month old. When I had only one kid I played 70 games/year.Quote:

Yes. But I was smart enough to plan the pregnancy around the golf season. Due date is in October (not perfect, I know, but better than July).
I'm around 15 rounds, which is my normal pace. Probably end up with 50 if I play the whole season.
My second was born in November. Last season was great. This season is another story.Quote:
